Colleen Orr

Colleen Orr, representing Darwin Bowls & Social Club, first discovered bowls in 2010 after moving to Darwin and taking six months off work. With bowls being the only daytime sport available, she gave it a go — and was instantly hooked. A proud Taylor SR user, Colleen loves the versatility they give her, from working around a short bowl to holding up beautifully on a weighted shot. Inspired by champions like Lynsey Clarke, Kelsey Cottrell, Natasha Van Eldik and even past legends such as John Snell, Colleen has forged her own memorable career. Her standout highlight was winning the Australian Champion of Champions and representing her country at the World Champion of Champions in 2018, alongside more recent success as a 2024 Australian Indoor semi-finalist. Beyond competition, she’s grateful for the opportunities to represent the Australian NIS Development Squad, compete against Hong Kong, and travel the nation doing what she loves.
