Gary Law, representing Burleigh Heads, grew up around the greens but took a twenty–year break from bowls before returning at age 46, missing the challenge too much to stay away. Now playing with Taylor GTRs, he loves their grip and reliability, especially when playing with weight. Admiring Damien Delgado for his incredible ability and character, Gary’s proudest memory so far was winning the Australian Junior Pairs—though he reckons his best achievement is still to come. For Gary, bowls is about more than results; it’s about community and connecting with people from all walks of life. Away from the green, he’s a family man who loves sharing coffee with his wife while supporting his kids’ sporting journeys, and he’s recently rekindled his passion for cricket, hard rock, and podcasts.
