Jake Rynne, representing Club Helensvale, started his bowls journey at just 6 years old in 2009, thanks to his grandfather and even his local kindergarten. Inspired by watching the bowls show Jackhigh on TV, Jake has stuck with Taylor Vector VS bowls for his entire career, trusting them to perform on any surface without fuss. He looks up to Kelvin Kerkow and treasures the memory of winning his club’s pairs championship alongside his grandpa. For Jake, bowls has given him more than competition—it’s opened doors to travel, work, and friendships with people from all walks of life. Off the green, you’ll often find him fishing, camping, or chasing any sport he can get into, always living with the motto to “believe what you see.”
