Zeljko “Chico” Trbara, representing Carlingford Sports Club, first got into bowls in 2004 through a junior program at Merrylands Bowling Club. Since then, he’s become a loyal Taylor GTR user for over a decade, trusting their consistency and line without ever considering a change. His proudest moment came when he won his first club singles at Club Merrylands—a victory that gave him the belief he could compete with the best. Along the way, Chico has admired countless players, not just for their ability but for the friendships and characters he’s met through the sport. Beyond bowls, the game has even helped shape his career in hospitality management.
